Winter Glow Progressive Dinners

Kick off the Ice Wine Festival with a progressive dinner event the night before. The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. at Grand River Cellars with soup and salad. Proceed to Debonné Vineyards for a wonderful meal. Afterwards, move up the road to South River Vineyards for a delightful dessert. Our wine maker will pair each of the courses with his choice of wines.

Ice Wine Festival at Debonne Vineyards
March 2nd, 9th and 16th
Noon-5 p.m.
Join Debonné Vineyards, Ferrante Winery & Ristorante, Grand River Cellars Winery and Restaurant, Laurello Vineyards & St. Joseph Vineyards for Ohio’s 10th Annual Ice Wine Festival, a progressive tasting of the ice wine produced in the Grand River Valley. Our neighbor winery up the road, South River Vineyard will also be serving their ice wine.
Patrons will visit each of the participating wineries and sample their Ice Wine along with a complimentary appetizer.
Many of the wineries will also have a featured event including ice carving, jewelry shows, dog sledding demonstrations and much more.

Pre-sale tickets can be purchased at Willoughby Hills City Hall, 35405 Chardon Road and the Community Center Office 35400 Chardon Rd. Ticket prices are Adults ($6 pre-sale, $7 at the door), Children ages 6 thru 12 ($3.50) and kids 5 & under are free. Breakfast includes all you can eat pancakes (plain, blueberry & French toast), sausage, apple sauce, fruit cocktail, juice and coffee. The great annual basket raffle is also planned for this event.

Cleveland historian and storyteller Dan Ruminski has once again come up with an amazing story about Cleveland’s past. Through a series of unexpected twists and turns, Ruminski tells the story of how Cleveland’s Millionaire’s Row and the city of Wickliffe, Ohio connects to this acclaimed movie. Ruminski claims “This is the most exciting story I have done this far.” (general seating)

The 45th Annual Dressage Prix de Villes of North America Equestrian Team Competition
Lake Erie College Equestrian Center
The Prix de Villes (Prize of the Cities) is an equestrian team competition initiated in 1966 by renowned horseman Laddie Andahazy, founder of Lake Erie College’s Equestrian program. Based on a team competition, the Prix de Villes format not only allowed competitors the opportunity to compete under FEI rules (Federation Equestrian Internationale) but also laid claim to drawing some of the top named riders. Today the Prix de Villes still draws local, national and even some international competitors. The Dressage Prix de Villes will begin Friday evening at 5 p.m. and will end at approximately 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday the show will begin at 8 a.m. and end at approximately 6 p.m.
